The Conference

IM - The Conference 2022 is a four day All-Inclusive event at the Fiesta Americana Riviera Maya Tulkal to explore Life - Work Balance, Professional Development, & Personal Growth.  The design of this conference is to give attendees that opportunity to learn and grow while having time to relax, decompress, and get refocused on opportunities that lay ahead.

With topics like:  Joy Ignites Success, Bouncing Back & Finishing Strong, A Look at Diversity, The Labels that Define Us, Balance Needed for the Organization, Grit to Live and Love Your Life, The Necessity of Self-Care, Elevating Beyond Unconscious Bias, Transforming Team Effort into World Class Performance, Moving Your Team Beyond Limiting Obstacles, How Extraordinary Leaders Inspire, Retain, and Engage All Employees, How Extraordinary Professionals Create Loyalty and Influence that Lasts, How Trust and Unity Create Transformational Change, The Art of Significance - Achieving the Level Beyond Success, Influential Impact, Creating Win/Wins through Scarcity, Connection - Personally & Professionally, and The Effects of Stress, Anxiety, Addiction, and PTSD in the Workplace.  The seven keynotes and twenty-seven breakout sessions will be enriching both personally and professionally.

Clint Pulver

Clint Pulver is the author of the best selling book, 'I Love It Here', a professional keynote speaker, author, musician, pilot, and workforce expert. Known as the leading authority on employee retention, Clint has transformed how corporations like Keller Williams, AT&T, and Hewlett Packard create lasting loyalty through his work and research as the Undercover Millennial.

 

He has been featured by BusinessQ Magazine as a "Top 40 Under 40," and, as a professional drummer, he has appeared in feature films and on America's Got Talent. In 2020, Clint won an Emmy Award for his short film 'Be a Mr. Jensen', which tells the story of how a single moment in time , by one particular mentor, can change

the course of a life.

kelly goldsmith

Professor Goldsmith is a behavioral scientist whose research examines consumers’ psychological and behavioral responses to scarcity and uncertainty. Her research is highly interdisciplinary in nature, drawing upon theories and methods from a variety of areas, including anthropology, cognitive and social psychology, economics, evolutionary biology and marketing.  Kelly Goldsmith’s work has appeared in several top marketing and psychology journals, and has been featured in hundreds of media outlets including the BBC, Time Magazine, the New York Times, US Today, and many more.

 

As a tenured professor and award-winning teacher at Vanderbilt University, Kelly is currently co-editing three special issues for top marketing journals on the topics of “Consumer Psychology for the Greater Good,” “Resource Scarcity and Consumer Decision Making,” & “Consumer Insights from the COVID-19 Outbreak”. Prior to her employment at Vanderbilt University, she was a marketing professor at the Kellogg School of Management (2009 – 2017) and obtained her Ph.D. in Behavioral Marketing from Yale University in 2009. 

Brad Barton

National Speakers Association leader, executive coach, and performance enhancement expert, Brad is the author of the best-selling 'Beyond Illusions'.

 

This NCAA All-American athlete recently set Masters Track & Field world and American records for the Mile Run, 1500m, 3000m and Steeplechase. For two decades, he has refocused great enterprises to world class performance. Amped-up clients include Panasonic, Kimberly-Clark, State Farm, Subway, Mayo Clinic, MassMutual, NASA and even the IRS. Brad is a performance enhancement expert. For two decades, he has refocused great enterprises  on the process of getting better and achieving record-breaking world-class excellence.

Christina hopper

Christina “Thumper” Hopper grew up in an Air Force family where both of her parents enlisted and served.  Her parents’ interracial marriage encountered harsh discrimination and Thumper experienced the demoralizing effects of racism on her first day of kindergarten. The shame and rejection she felt from this left a mark on her life that forever changed her. 

 

She was among the first generation of women in fighters, one of only two black female fighter pilots in the Air Force, the first black female fighter pilot in a major war and the first black female fighter instructor pilot.  She served in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom and earned 4 Air Medals.

 

After having three children, Thumper took up long distance running and triathlon at age 34.  She completed the Boston marathon twice, conquered IRONMAN Kona and the half-IRONMAN World Championships, and she currently competes as part of the Air Force triathlon team. 

Dan CLark

Dan has spoken to more than 6000 audiences, in all 50 states, in 71 countries, on 6 continents to millions of people, and has worked with most of the Fortune 500 companies, Super Bowl Champions, NASA, MDRT, the United Nations and has been ‘down range’ many times to fire up our combat troops on multiple ‘Military Tribute Tours’ in Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa.

 

Dan is an alumnus of the University of Utah (psychology); a University Professor; Podcast Host; New York Times Best Selling Author of 35 books to include 'The Art of Significance' and a primary contributing author to the Chicken Soup for the Soul series.

As a master storyteller Dan has been published in over 50 million books in 40 languages worldwide; has appeared on over 500 TV and radio programs including Oprah, Glenn Beck, NPR and Voices of America/Radio Free Europe. Dan teaches to focus on what matters most, which is what lasts the longest – knowing the goal is not to live forever, but to create something that will.

Samantha Weeks

Dr. Samantha Weeks is a passionate leader and speaker with extensive knowledge and experience leading complex organizations and motivating individuals and teams to their highest levels of effectiveness.

 

She served as a Colonel in the United States Air Force and commanded at the Squadron, Group and Wing levels.  Her culminating military assignment was the Commander, 14th Flying Training Wing, Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, where she led 3000 people and managed an operations and maintenance budget of $115 million with capital assets exceeding $2.3 billion.

 

Highlighting her Air Force career, she was the first female solo demonstration pilot on the United States Air Force Aerial Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds. She served as an Air Force Fellow to the Office of the Deputy Secretary of Defense and was chosen for the Lorenz Fellowship where she earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Military Strategy, focusing on leader and leadership development.

Miriam Stevenson

Miriam Stevenson is a relationship-based, transformative leader whose mission is to make sure students have what they need to live fulfilled lives including connections to caring adults. 

 

She manages the health and wellness programs and services for a 12,000+ school district.  As a site leader, she was responsible for climate and culture initiatives and helped build the infrastructure for school-based wellness centers and social emotional teaching and learning. 

 

As a student services director, she has systemized the district’s crisis prevention, intervention and post-vention practices in a community that has endured significant traumatic events.  During her 17 years in education, Miriam has worked as a site administrator, New Teacher Program Manager, professional developer, school counselor, teacher and coach. 

Glenn schiraldi

Glenn R. Schiraldi, Ph.D., Lt. Colonel (USAR, Ret.), has served on the stress management faculties at the Pentagon, the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, and the University of Maryland, where he received the Outstanding Teaching Award and other teaching/service awards in the School of Public Health.

 

He is the author of 14 books on human mental and physical health to include: The Adverse Childhood Experiences Recovery Workbook; The Resilience Workbook; The Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Sourcebook: A Guide to Healing, Recovery & Growth; The Resilient Warrior Before, During, and After War; World War II Survivors: Lessons in Resilience; The Self-Esteem Workbook; Conquer Anxiety, Worry & Nervous Fatigue; The Anger Management Sourcebook; Ten Simple Solutions to Building Self-Esteem; Hope and Help for Depression: A Practical Guide; and Facts to Relax By: A Guide to Relaxation and Stress Reduction. 

Jean clinton

Dr. Jean Clinton is a Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster, division of Child Psychiatry. She is on staff at McMaster Children’s Hospital with cross appointments in Pediatrics and Family Medicine, and an Associate in the Department of Child Psychiatry, University of Toronto and Sick Children’s Hospital. She is a Fellow of the Child Trauma Academy, as well as a Zero to Three Academy Fellow since 2013.

Dr. Clinton is renowned nationally and internationally as an advocate for children’s issues. Her special interest lies in brain development, and the crucial role relationships and connectedness play therein. Jean champions the development of a national, comprehensive child well-being strategy including a system of early learning and care for all young children and their families. She is equally committed to ensuring that children’s and youths’ needs and voices are heard and respected.
